Rectangular Pools with Squared Corners
Kidney or Other Shaped Pools
Place the reel at the pool end with the straps attached to the end of the blanket. Position the reel at the end of the pool, so the blanket comes freely from the water onto the reel. On a Lazy- L pool, fold the angled blanket extension onto the main blanket, so it will flow freely during roll-up. (Place your cursor on the pool to see the fold over.)
The general rule for irregularly shaped pools is to place the reel across the widest part of the pool. On some kidney shapes and pools with steps, the blanket section that extends beyond a line for easy roll-up, should be folded to avoid catching the side of the pool. (Place your cursor on the pool to see the fold over.)
